Between 3000 BCE and 500 CE, the Bantu migrations occurred, with the agriculturalist and Iron Age Bantu culture spreading across most of sub-Saharan Africa. Were any civilizations to the north (e.g. Ethiopia, Nubia, Egypt, Rome, etc) aware of these huge migrations? What did they think of it?
