I (26M) was sent to the hospital nearly 2 years ago for alcohol poisoning. I arrived unconscious. One of my "Active Problems" listed in my Visit Notes was "Acute Metabolic Encephalopathy". My discharge paperwork mentioned nothing about this, but I am still intensely worried about seeing it listed.
