What year(s) did the 1918 influenza pandemic morph from "this is a global pandemic where we mask & do not touch anyone" into "this is the roaring twenties where we Charleston & life is awesome"; aka when did the virus just become normal, and a part of what would now be called cold and flu season?

Because the process of making scotch whiskey involves processing & burning of peat for fuel (in varying amounts depending on the flavor desired) and *bog bodies* have been discovered in many peat bogs, is it possible that some scotches are flavored with bog bodies?
