In the TV show LOST, characters must enter a code into a computer every 108 minutes. In terms of your sleep cycle (never being able to sleep without interruption for more than 108 minutes), what would be the health implications? Would it be possible to carry this on for years?

Imagine they had a pool on the international space station, but was contained so air bubbles wouldn't get trapped forever and the water wouldn't go everywhere. What would swimming be like? If things wouldn't float or sink, would it be like being in normal zero-g, just very viscous?

Is an iPhone's performance affected by time? For example, it I am reading an iBook, and then close iBooks and open my email for 30 seconds and then switch back to iBooks, why does it open faster than it would if I had stayed on my email for an hour and then switched back to iBooks?
