What is this? It's made of clay (it smells π), quite weighty for the size, found on a beach in south east England by a collapsed wall with loads of 18-19th century pottery and bottles. Mudlarking community have suggested an old drop spindle whorl? | 1 | whatisthisthing | | | | |
