A man comes up to me and goes “your still here?!” And I get asked this by older men I don’t even know constantly in this town. I reply saying yes I’m lucky arnt I? Isn’t it lovely here! Then he goes straight away “what’s going on with this?” and points to my face….

Sitting in a cafe headphones on reading a book. Loving life. This man walks past me pretends to look at a book in front of me. Walks back. I keep my head down. He comes back again…. Pretends to look at book shuffles in front of me. I keep my head down and yet he then comes over starts talking to me

Since I came out as gay I have had a lot of attention from men. It became really addictive and I loved the compliments etc but now it gets to the point where if I don’t get this or a man doesn’t praise or like me I feel like something is wrong and my value declines….
