I recently read a conspiracy theory that the rise of Hitler was a "foreign plot" by the US and UK. Obviously this is false, but did Hitler receieve material support from any foreign governments during the Nazi rise to power?

It seems that teenage "types" like jock, nerd, greaser, goth, etc. are only portrayed in media as existing since the 1950's. Did American teenagers in the 19th century have a sense of being part of any subcultures like that?

There are a number of alt-history works which depict a owrld in which Napoleon won the Battle of Waterloo. Would that have changed anything, in the end? Why would the coalition have simply kept fighting until they had worn him down yet again?

Given the poor living conditions and low life expectancies of Medieval Europe, was there any backlash to the construction of large religious monuments or buildings? I'm thinking specifically of those massive cathedrals that took decades or centuries to construct.
