When Pangea divided, the seperate land masses gradually grew further apart. Does this mean that one day, they will again reunite on the opposite sides? Hypothetically, how long would that process take?

We are told that X-Rays are dangerous because the radiation is known to cause cancer. Then when we are diagnosed with cancer, it is treated with radiation. Is this a different type of radiation?

If the surface of the sun is around 10,000 degree Fahrenheit and can sustain a planet 93,000,000 miles away, why does a lightning bolt, that can reach 53,000 degree Fahrenheit, not completely disenegrate our planet?
