[WP] You're writing your latest story, and you're finally at the point of your heroes final battle with the big bad. "One way or another, this ends at last" is what you write. "There's no way I'm doing that" is what is written on the paper, along with a description of them glaring at you.

[WP] One can revive from death if you defeat death in a game of chess. For millennia, this allowed only the rare genius to return. But with increasingly east access to Chess AIs like Stockfish, the death rate has dropped precariously low. Something must be done.

[WP] The rivalry is wearing thin. The villain's absurd doomsday devices are always stopped before they do any harm, then they escape from prison before the ink is dry. So when you're in yet another volcano lair with yet another giant laser, you blurt out "look, can we do something else today?"
