So why do I puke when I attempt to eat any other fish than Tilapia or Salmon? I've eaten Porgy, Red Snapper, and Catfish before. Always puke. But I don't when I eat Tilapia or Salmon or any Shellfish I don't puke. My Grandma had the same problem.

So, you can find very old soda at Pawn shops near me (even saw a bottle of Coca Cola syrup once) assuming no one fucked with it and it was still sealed but decades old, what would happen if you recarbonated it? E.G. old Mountain Dew when it was spelled that way instead of "Mtn dew".
