If extra wings seen on biplanes add more lift and maneuverability, why don’t we add them to modern planes or jets and have them built into the airframe like we do today?

Why is the BFR rocket only slightly bigger then the Saturn V despite the huge difference in distance they have to travel?

Nothing can go faster than the speed of light. We all know that. What happens if you are already moving at a high speed and create light (flash light etc). Does that mean that light you’ve created is faster than the speed of light?
