What would happen if you passed two entangled photons through two identical quantum eraser setups? What if you collapsed the polarization of one of the photons before it entered the experiment?

If photons in a super position act differently than photons in a collapsed state, like what you see in the classic double slit experiment, then why can't you change the way two entangled photons act by collapsing the superposition of one?
