What if the 1987 cartoon show was a true faithful adaptation of the original black and white Mirage comics with all of the violence, dark gritty tones, swearing etc from those books? How would the show be revived and what would the TMNT franchise be like onwards?

Having both originated from dark gritty comics and becoming iconic characters that eventually got their own movies, how would you feel about a crossover between Spawn and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? And I mean completely comic book accurate with both characters, violence and all.
