How does the body establish homeostasis for blood pressure? I mean, patients can have HBP *and* orthostatic hypotension. In some of these cases, the OH can be so extreme that the patient has critical problems when standing at a BP that would still be considered hypertensive.

So, chlorine tends to pick up an electron in a chemical reaction with say, sodium, to obtain the electron configuration of argon — but can it pick up free electrons in the air to become a free-floating, negatively-charged Cl ion? Is this something that happens often when chlorine hits the air?
