I am fairly new to growing and have a question about a couple cactus. I have a grafted Zed x Hulk that looks like it’s thinning out… the base looks like it’s sucking inward… is this due to too much sun or is it thirsty? I water 2-3 times a week… advice please

Question about scale… I have a Helmut x huan scop and it has got scale. I was able to clean the scale off, well most of it but I am not sure if I need to dump the soil and repot it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance

Etiolation question: I recently grafted this tip and the base is slightly larger than the new growth. Is this an early sign of etiolation? The color looks good and it’s actively growing, I’m just concerned with the width of the newer growth. Advice please? Thanks in advance
