[WP] Everyone in the Galactic Union knows that some species are only good at one thing (War, Logic, Finance, etc), so there was never a point in trying to talk to them. So how is it that humanity, new space-faring species that they are, has such great luck in bringing those species together?

[WP] Aliens have been abducting humans for decades, but recently they've been sending them back slightly modified, causing those humans to appear more attractive. It's not malevolent, though. They're just tagging them like any other kind of wildlife. The attraction thing is just a weird side effect.
