I am one of the first indoeuropeans to have tamed the horse on the steppes and, having ridden out, find that everyone else can be conquered by my tribe. Why doesn't anyone else have an animal comparable to the horse?

Were the indoeuropeans who tamed the horse just lucky enough to tame it when they did or was there a reason that the steppe was ideal for that? If the horse had been in africa would everyone have ridden horses right out of the gate?

[WP}] "Academy Magic" is generally regarded as 'safe' magic. "Fell Magic" is dangerous magic that can almost only be used for evil. "Vile Magic," on the other hand, is 'safe' but its mundane equivalent is "don't google that, if you don't already know then you really don't want to know, I promise"
