On 31 December 2023, battery-only electric cars accounted for 1.7% of all cars in the EU. In Denmark, electric cars made up 7.1% of all cars. High shares were observed in Sweden (5.9%), Luxembourg (5.1%) and the Netherlands (5.0%). The lowest shares were in Cyprus, Greece and Poland, each at 0.2%
