If it were possible to make a sheet of some sort of dense material, like iron, into a single molecule thick sheet - would it be see through? Would anything? How thick is it required to be to be opaque?

Work companies actively researching mining asteroids, is there ever any worry that bringing *too* much material and weight back to earth could affect our rotation, or something else?

When you're in a room with a light on, that is otherwise pitch black, and flip the light off - you can see for less than a second faint outlines of objects. Is this an eye/mind trick? Residual light bouncing around still? Low amounts of residual electricity in the bulb?
