Watched Paris, Texas last night. Very uplifting (and I adore Harry Dean), but man, the kid without a seatbelt, in the back of the truck, etc. gave me so much anxiety.

Elliott on "Paris, Texas": "the thing i like about that movie is that it's easy to identify with all the characters. i guess harry dean stanton is the main character i identify with. it's one of the few movies without a bad guy - you don't need a bad guy to create the tension."

Does anyone know if streaming for the All My Rowdy Friends show will be available post-show? I see live streaming, but not post-show (a number of us are headed to HAY shows at the same time). Thanks!

Yo, Portland! WOW on selling out two shows to Heaven Adores You, tonight! You've renewed my faith in humanity (as has u/Kevin_Moyer for being so kind as to press for a second showing). It looks like they've opened ONE TICKET to the 7:00p.m. show if you want to snatch it up!

Usually, Spotify slams me with non-related song-age (e.g. "Honk If You're Lonely Tonight") after I finish an ES album, but when this comes on, it simultaneously makes me feel warm and sad (as his music does).
