Newly pregnant and my doctor told me under no circumstances should I eat runny or soft boiled eggs for fear of salmonella. Isn't salmonella on the shell? And for that reason, wouldn't boiling an egg for five minutes kill the salmonella so soft boiled eggs should have zero risk?
