So... a Bosnian friend of mine asked a question I couldn't answer. Who was the first person to make bread? I hope this is allowed and isn't pedantic. I did not have a good answer. Please help.

I know this sounds like a loaded question, but hear me out... when did gender start to matter re: ablutions and bathrooms. Did it matter in a Roman or Turkish bathhouse? Were male Kabuki performers doing a female role provided a separate powder room?
