[WP] Albert Krank died in the hospital from gross malpractice. Now he's a ghost who appears to patients as a doctor, asks some odd questions, signs their medical chart, and leaves. He appears when things are about to go badly, to give hints.

[WP] Genetic engineering has allowed parents to choose to give their children eyes in the back of their head. They're mouse-sized eyes on stalks sticking out from the tips of the ears, looking backwards around the hair. The new optic nerves go through the same holes in the skull as the ears.
