At what depth, on Earth, the water pressure is so high that air will get turned into liquid, such that under this depth air bubbles will just "dissapear".

How come we can breath with so little effort and energy. And by extension can suck and blow with our mouth and nose. However mechanical devices seem to use so much power, why cant we make machines that like vacuum cleaners and leaf blowers as efficiently use animals breathing?
