Just finished watching Jojo Rabbit for the first time and it portrays a lot of very young kids (~10yrs old) going into war against Germany's enemies towards the end of the war. How accurate is this? Did they ever send kids to war? If so, what effect did this have on the allied forces?

Has there ever been a dictatorship that has been considered 'successful'? Anytime you hear the word dictator, it is followed up by a tremendous amount of negativity. Is there a dictator whose country, empire, or nation was considered peaceful, prosperous, and good for the people?

In the TV series Band of Brothers there's a scene depicting an English speaking German POW from Oregon, USA who states that his family, "answered the call to return to the Fatherland" Did German immigrants return to Germany to fight for them during WW2? And if so, how often did it happen?
