If the universe contains the dimension of time, when the Universe ends and that dimension is destroyed, and all forms of time are destroyed, why is it that from our reference point there is still a past/present/future instead of nothing?

If someone fired a gun where the end of the barrel was sealed shut (so the bullet smashes into it and never leaves the gun) would the initial recoil be cancelled out by collision at the end of the barrel?
