To a nearsighted person, why are distant images that are reflected in a mirror still blurry if the person is inches from the mirror?

Hypothetically, if a baby was delivered normally, and placed in a vat of amniotic fluid, would it still not have to breathe air to live, just as it doesn't in the womb?

If the human body thrives on healthy food full of nutrients that are good for it, why hasn't it evolved to crave super healthy foods instead of fat and sugar filled foods?
