My childhood dog napping by the fireplace. We got Jet when I was 11. Awhile back I back had a dream where he was running around my my feet, I thought something was wrong and woke up. Jet died in 2018, I knew he couldn’t be with me ever again

my most cherished memory of my first dog? when he was a puppy his tail got shut in the car door, we opened it right away but he started crying and whimpering. I cradled him in my arms until he calmed down. it's the closest I ever felt to him and only realized it when he passed a few years back.
