In Thomas Asbridge's "The Greatest Knight" he states that Lewis Warren's 1973 biography of Henry II has influenced historians' perspective of Young King Henry as shallow, vain, incompetent etc. but that contemporary evidence shows Henry was perceived better. Is the Warren view still the most popular
