How did Nazi (or any anti-semetic) Christians view the Old Testament, given that pretty much exclusively follows the history of the Jewish people?

In the game Crusader Kings, feudal society is organized in a very strict hierarchy. Emperors > Kings > Dukes > Counts > Barons/Mayors/ Bishops. Did medieval society consider these ranks to be part of a strict hierarchy like that or was the "chain of command" (so to speak) much more fluid?

Why do other languages have last names indicating where people are from (like Von in German and De in French, Spanish and Portuguese) but English doesn't seem to have any?
