the age of our sun is roughly 5 billion years old. the age of our universe is roughly 15 billion years old. we have elements on our planet heavier than iron, so from my understanding at least some of our matter has come from a supernova. is there consensus on the stellar history of our local matter?

if there are 10 grains of sand per millimeter, what would be the approximate size of a spherical or cubical volume of a googol of sand? looking for both a numerical answer and a non-numerical answer. non-numerical answer in terms of something relative in size. both guesses and calculations welcome
