Finished boot. Now to last the other one. Thoughts? Critique, criticism, and positive comments equally appreciated. Definitely need to figure out a way to avoid gouging the upper when sewing and sanding.

I love these blades for shoe making so much I wanted to share with everyone. They are fantastic for cutting 10 oz. + Thick leather. Great price in my opinion.

I have found that high quality sewing, welting, inseaming, and other awl blades are very hard to find. I have around 10-15 various Barnsley and sons awls but I find that the blades are a bit too large for my liking. Does anyone else here make their own awl blades?

Does anyone own one of these and can speak to the effectiveness of the dust collection? I need to use one indoors.
