Why did Talleyrand support the restoration of the Bourbons? It seems like people would have enough issues trusting him given how often he would betray who he worked for and considering he already betrayed the Bourbons once wouldnt he have been worried about them being even more suspicious of him?

I’m 1947 the former fascist dictator of Thailand, Phibunsongkhram, launched a coup overthrowing the Allied installed democratic government and restored his dictatorship. Afaik this is the only instance of an ousted former Axis leader returning to power. What was the international reaction to this?
