How could antisemitism be even a thing in christianity back then, arent Jesus himself was jewish, or basically every important person in the bible, and arent there something about jews being the chosen people of God?

As far as i know back in the day day in america italian and irish people were discriminated too alongside black people, but what for, arent they were white and christian all the same, where it came from that "now we gonna hate italians specificaly"?
