I just got my first AR. (M&p15 sport 2). Is there any break in procedure I should do? I’ve read some people saying to put oil down the barrel. Please recommend good oil for this if needed and cleaning products!

When I turn the vertical dial on my holosun EPS carry, I can see the dot move and it goes in the direction that I want it to but then it gets to a certain point and goes the opposite direction while I’m turning the dial the same way

This is probably so dumb but is there a way to manually “reset” the red dot on eps carry to get it back to how it was out of the box. Like turn the dials a certain number of clicks and what not. I started messing with it and now I don’t even know what to do so I just took the optic off for now.

How many elevation and windage clicks to get Holosun EPS carry back to factory zero?

I turn the vertical adjustment on my EPS carry and I can physically see it go up, and then while turning it the same way after a few clicks, it switches directions.
