orange carrots have carotenoids, and that is why they are orange. does that mean that non-GMO carrots or carrots before the 17th century do not have carotenoids since they are purple/white?

If medical-science finally reached the point where they could attach functioning limbs to people, and I decided on getting a third arm, would it be as hard to use as my non-dominant hand or would I have better control over it than said hand?
