I did a "kind of" review of the Asahi SMC Tak 135/f2.5 vs the f3.5. This is a long one, to sum up: Wide open IMO the f3.5 is better than the f2.5. They have almost zero cons (excepted the beam flaring) and this is the issue: They're too good/clean if you are looking for telephoto with"character".
