In retrospect, FDR’s Court Packing scheme seems to be a monumental misstep and both policy wise and politically. It resulted in enormous backlash from both Republicans and Democrats after it was announced. So my question is, why didn’t any of his advisors tell Roosevelt how bad of an idea it was?
