My parents who were teens in the 80s told me there wasn’t really a narrative surrounding how dangerous it is to drunkly drive. Is this true? What changed? What were the protests around continuing to not wear seatbelts/ have it not be mandatory? Was mother’s against drunk driving a part of this?

After watching “Casablanca” for the first time (5 stars), I learned the movie premiered on Nov 26, 1941; 11 days later was Pearl Harbor. The movie released to general audiences on Jan 23, 1942. How did Pearl Harbor affect the film? Did anyone see the movie before PH and then see it again?
