I just read “there's actually evidence that, until modern times, humans didn't see the colour blue at all”. Surely this can’t be true? Could someone clear this up for us

What facts do we have around Jesus's parents, do we know if his mother claimed to be a virgin, or was that implied due to his claim as the son of God? Was it likely that a pregnant virgin would be believed in the social climate at the time?
