I know Django Unchained is a typical Tarantino movie but were there really female slaves regarded as 'high class hookers', such as Sheba who appeared to even dine with her owners? Were there any 'slaves' who seemed to live a relatively good life? Thanks for your response.

What were the religions prominent in Central Asia (Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, etc) before the arrival of Islam? Also any interesting titbits about the region during that era would be much appreciated. Thanks!
