Warhammer Fantasy Battle has a faction called Bretonnia roughly based off of Arthurian legend and medieval France. In it, nobles take 90% of the peasants production as tax. What were the highest tax rates of peasants in the medieval period in France? Elsewhere? How did these rates shape the economy?
