Is there any record of what Orville Wright thought about modern aircraft? He died in 1948 and so would have seen the development of aviation become quite advanced. I would like to know what he thought about it.

In the American West, what happened if a person or ranch tried to register a brand that could cover over an existing brand in that region? Was it denied because it could be used for rustling? Did they check first to make sure an existing brand couldn't be made into the new brand?
