I've often heard on various edutainment shows that a teaspoon of neutron star matter would weigh an enormous amount on earth. But outside of the stars gravity well how stable would that dense matter be?

Would an array of dozens or even hundreds of LIGO gravitational wave observatories in some sort of formation in space be able to give us 3d images of distant objects similar to like a ccd sensor does for light and 2D pictures?
