I just had diarrhea 30 min after eating some risky lamb. But obviously I just got rid of poop from previous food--the lamb and E. coli or whatever are still in me. How is this bodily response evolutionarily beneficial at all?

To get from position A to position B, one must go through all the positions in between. Same for velocity A to velocity B. What about acceleration? Jerk? Where does it end?
