When Japanese American Internment happened in the USA during WW2, are there recorded instances of non-Japanese families hiding Japanese families in their own home from internment? If the non-Japanese family was caught, were they legally punished by the government in any way?

Why did Pelopidas and Epaminondas allow Philip II to be educated in their military strategy while he was captured in Thebes? It seems they should have known they were training their future enemy combatant, which did occur when Philip II came back and defeated Athens and Thebes.
