Having a large supply of ATP inhibits oxidative phosphorylation, thus preventing more ATP from being synthesized. Is there any particular reason that the body wouldn't want to keep creating more ATP?

In a binary star system, would there a region of net zero gravitational pull between the two stars, and, would it be possible for an object or planet to be locked between the two stars by occupying this region? Or would the gravity of the two opposing stars simply tear the object apart?
