Is there any difference, in terms of tactic/strategy, between using horse as cavalry and using camels as cavalry? If there was any, how would they change the course of a battle?

Why did Catholic kings (e.g. Louis XIV of France) compare themselves to Greek/Roman gods in statues, paintings, etc? Aren’t they pagan gods therefore contradicting Christianity? How did The Church and The Pope view this depiction?

A losing general (In renaissance era /medieval era/roman era and so on) tends to lose thousands and thousands of their troops. Do we know anything about the effect of that on their mental health?
