This is an example of a lab that I have done in my calculus classes. With a laser pointer, a ruler, and a cup of water (and calculus) we measure the speed of light in water.

[SELF] Here is a video that shows how to use a laser pointer, a ruler, a cup of water, and calculus to measure the speed of light in water.

We don't usually do labs in maths class, but this video is based off of a lab I have done in my calculus classes. With a laser pointer, a ruler, and a cup of water, we measure the speed of light in water. (Actually the proportion of the speed of light in water compared to air).
