There's a lot of similarity between the way humans perceive plants versus the way that insects could perceive humans.

Breads and cakes and things like that didn't exist for most of history. It's just that one day people tried putting those ingredients together like that, and it worked. Who knows what other better-tasting food combinations may be discovered in the future, and how completely bizarre they might sound?
